2013 (Jr.): Played and started in all 10 games on the defensive line earning his third letter...named Second Team All-MIAA...compiled 51 tackles including 22 solos...registered 7.5 tackles for a loss of 32 yards including three sacks for a loss of 21 yards...blocked a kick at Trine on Oct. 19...recorded a career-high 11 tackles including two tackles for loss against Albion on Nov. 9...totaled seven tackles and a pass breakup at Defiance on Sept. 14...made at least two tackles in every game.

2012 (So.): Played in seven games for the  Bulldogs while starting in three of those games…registered 11 total tackles on the season…tallied four tackles against Carthage College on Sept. 1 and four tackles against Defiance College on Sept. 8...finished the season with 2.5 tackles for loss and one forced fumble.

2011 (Fr.): Earned a varsity letter for the Bulldogs in his first season after appearing in 10 games.

Personal: Majoring in criminal justice with a minor in business…son of Jamie and Liz First …born in Niles, Michigan on December 25, 1992...attended Cassopolis High School...2010 All-Conference as a tight end/defensive end…lettered in football, basketball, and baseball…football team made playoffs all three years on varsity…won a district championship in basketball in 2010…named All-Area as a defensive end in 2010 and 2011…graduated 19th in his class and was a member of National Honor Society…favorite sport teams are the Detroit Lions, Notre Dame Fighting Irish and the Chicago Cubs…favorite athletes are Jason Babin and Julius Peppers...favorite movies are Remember the Titans and The Blind Side.
