2014 (Jr.): Saw action in all 11 contests for Adrian in 2014…had four tackles against Defiance and four against Mount Union on Nov. 22…finished season with a total of 14 stops including six solo tackles and eight assists.

2013 (So.): Played in eight games earning his first letter...named MIAA All-Academic...finished the season with three tackles...had a solo stop against Alma on Oct. 12...had an assist tackle at Defiance on Sept. 14 and at Hope on Oct. 5.

Personal: Majoring in education with a minor in history...full name is John Thomas Carlin IV...son of John and Victoria Carlin...born in Sterling Heights, Michigan on April 21, 1994...prepped at Stevenson High School graduating in 2012...lettered in football, baseball and basketball in 2011 and 2012...won district and regional titles in football and baseball...named 2012 All-MAC Red Honorable Mention in baseball...member of National Honor Society...favorite sports teams are the Detroit Tigers and Detroit Lions...favorite athletes are Bo Jackson and Ed Reed.
