Entering the Season: A second-year member of the program and returning starter in the Adrian goal...a senior academically who has junior athletic-eligibility...
2019-20 (Junior Year): Started in 24 games while compiling a 16-2-1 record, 2.55 goals-against average and .903 save percentage, logging over 1380 minutes...ended his first year on the team with a 13-game winning streak...his 549 saves were the fifth-most in Adrian's single-season history...earned first collegiate win over Nichols (5-1) in the Nov. 1 season opener at the Buffalo State Bengals Classic...named to the All-Northern Collegiate Hockey Association Academic Team...won his second NCHA Defensive Player of the Week honors on Dec. 3 after identical 4-2 wins on the road over previous NCHA points leader Aurora, compiling a .933 save percentage on 56 saves...picked up his first conference weekly award on Nov. 5 when he was selected to the All-Classic tournament team at Buffalo State, making 26 saves in his Bulldogs debut during a 5-1 win over Nichols (which was receiving national rankings votes in the poll) and then 19 more stops in a 3-3 overtime tie with then-No. 14 Manhattanville...recorded a career-high 35 saves in the NCHA Harris Cup championship-win (3-2) over three-time defending champion St. Norbert on March 7...had shutouts against Finlandia on Nov. 15 (7-0, 11 saves) and at Trine on Feb. 14 (7-0, 15 saves)...
2018-19 (Sophomore Year at St. Lawrence):Â Did not see action in a game...repeated on the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Hockey All-Academic Team...wore jersey number 29 for the Saints.
2017-18 (Freshman Year at St. Lawrence):Â Made his first collegiate appearance in relief at Harvard on February 16 and recorded four saves in just over six minutes between the pipes...chosen to the ECACÂ Hockey All-Academic Team.
Before Adrian:Â In 30 appearances for the Toronto Patriots in 2016-17, Gray made 28 starts with 1743:36 minutes played, posted a 15-14-0 record, a 2.99 goals-against average and .914 save percentage...He was also a two-time OJHL Player of the Week...At Ridley College he was a member of the hockey, track & field and rowing teams and was the recipient of the Ohio Ironman Award which is given to the individual whose grit, determination and perseverance is inspirational to his teammates...He was also a Dean's List student.
