Why did you choose Adrian College?: "For an opportunity to play basketball at the college level, and to get a great education."

Who has been the biggest influence on you as an athlete and why?: "My family. They have pushed me to always be better and to never give up."

High School: Graduated from Allen Park High School in 2016...was all-league and -league academic player...two-year team captain...four-year basketball player, helping Allen Park to district titles in 2014-15 and a league championship during her senior season...also participated in track and field, as the school won conference crowns in 2012 and '13...National Honor Society...member of the Link Crew, which is a high school transition program that welcomes freshmen and makes them feel comfortable throughout the first year of their high school experience.

Personal: Business management major...daughter of Jeff and Maggie Kubik...born Alyssa Kathryn Kubik on April 23, 1998 in Dearborn, Mich....brother, Ethan, plays football at Kalamazoo College...Favorites: sports team--Duke Blue Devils; athlete--Abby Waner; TV Show--One Tree Hill; movie--How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days; musician--Brett Eldredge; food--Mexican...enjoys playing basketball and hanging out with family and friends.
