Adrian College

Coach Alex Bellfy joins the Adrian College football coaching staff for his second stint in the spring of 2024. He has joined the defensive side as the Safety Coach. Bellfy has experience in football with the passion of shaping the next generation of defensive stars. He has the experience of diverse backgrounds in both playing and coaching. 

Coach Bellfy has a Bachelor of Science in Communications with a Minor in Nutrition from Eastern Michigan University. Additionally, he earned a Masters of Arts in Construction Management from Lawrence Technological University. 

Bellfy began his coaching journey at Lumen Christi High School as the Defensive Coordinator. His skills in game planning, scouting, film breakdown, and play calling was foundational for strategy and leadership. He was also a professional player and coach for the Hildeshiem Invaders in Germany. He was a versatile player and leader. As a result of that, he was recognized as one of the team’s All-American players. 

Coaching philosophy from Coach Bellfy will help the Bulldogs change the atmosphere to excellence, discipline, and continuous improvement. Coach Bellfy will help empower athletes to unlock their full potential.
