Marcus Davis was added to the football coaching staff in the spring semester of 2023. Coach Davis will specialize with the defensive backs after spending times as a defensive backs coach at the University of Minnesota Duluth.
Davis began his collegiate playing career at Dickinson State University as a cornerback and kick/punt returner. He was named All-Conference and All-American during his time at Dickinson State. He then transferred to the University of Minnesota Duluth where he was named All-Conference, All-Region, and All-American.
After college he began coaching at the University of Minnesota-Duluth. He later returned to the high he had attended to serve as the Defensive Coordinator and the Recruitment Coordinator where he assisted his high school athletes in their college search process. While coaching at Pinole Valley High School, the team was 2022 State Champions.
