Robert Hall

On Monday, March 30, 2023 Adrian College Athletic Director Craig Rainey announced Robert Hall as the Head Coach of the Adrian College men’s and women’s tennis program.  

Hall graduated from Ohio Wesleyan University with a degree in Botany & Bacteriology 1973. He worked in the Pharmaceutical Industry for 5 years with both Burroughs Wellcome (#13) & Hoffmann LaRoche (#1). Hall retired from The Xerox Corporation on December 31, 2011 after 31 years as a Document Solution Executive winning more than a dozen President’s & Par Clubs for both exemplary and above plan performances.

Over the course of his tennis career, Hall has won over a dozen individual trophies and while competing in The Ann Arbor Open, The Ypsilanti Open, The Detroit Public Parks Tournament, The Motor City Open, and many more open events.

Since 2002, Coach Robert has been a USPTR Certified Instructor.  He has played and won a half dozen USTA SEMTA Men’s & Mixed Doubles State Championships.  He currently serves as a teaching professional at The Beverly Hills Club, The City of Southfield Parks & Recreation and a Racquet Sales Advisor for The Tennis & Golf Company in Royal Oak.  Coach Robert’s defining contribution lies in the creation and coaching of the Boys & Girls Middle School Tennis since 2015 and feeding the Berkley Bears High School Teams with many skill players competing in yearly State Championships.  His company Tennis Made Easy, LLC provides both Singles & Doubles instruction to individuals and groups. 

Hall resides in Farmington Hills along with his wife, Regina and dog, Chloe.  He has two adult sons, Robert III, Reed and one adult daughter, Amanda. Coach Robert is proud to call himself a Bulldog! His favorite expression is: “Blessed By The Best (BBTB)!!”
