Entering the Season: Junior college teammate of current Bulldog Kennedy Kunce for two seasons at Taft (Calif.) College...gives Adrian some size in the frontcourt...plays the power forward and center positions.
2015-16 (Junior Year): Played in all but one of the Bulldogs' games...made eight starts... averaged 2.0 points and 3.0 rebounds...scored three points, had five rebounds and blocked a shot in her Adrian debut in the Nov. 14 season opener against DePauw...hauled down a career-best 10 rebounds in a 59-43 victory over St. Mary's (Ind.)...also set a school record with seven blocked shots in that contest.
Why did you choose Adrian College?: "The academic opportunities, and pursuing the sport I love to play in a black and gold uniform."
What are your athletic goals?: "Help my team reach the conference tournament and win a ring.
Who has been the biggest influence on you as an athlete and why?: "My dad, because he has always been behind me pushing me to be better and keep at it no matter how hard something may have seemed."
What is your career goal?: "To win a ring in my last season, and attempt to break my own single-game blocks record here."
Before Adrian College: A starter in both her freshman and sophomore years at Taft College...led the JUCO California ranks in blocked shots during 2013-14 season...top-10 ranked rebounder in her conference the following season...also served as team captain in her sophomore year....
High School: A 2013 graduate of Copper Hills in West Jordan, Utah, where she played on the girls' basketball team for two seasons...Academic Honor Roll for all four years...received the CHHS Service Award in recognition of 100 community service hours...also volunteer with the Breast Cancer Walk and National Multiple Sclerosis Society Walk, both from 2010 to 2013.
