2017-2018 (Freshman Year): Saw action in 12 games...ended the season with 10 points...50 percent from the free throw line.

High School: Graduated from Reading in 2017, where she competed in basketball, softball and track & field...played four years of basketball under coaches Sam Lamb (2014-16) and Kevin Bailey (2017), and twice was the RHS team most valuable player...tabbed to the Reading all-tournament team for three years ...helped track squad, under the direction of Deb Price, claim the Big 8 Conference, regional and Division IV state championships in 2013-14...two-year softball most improved player (2014-15) for Coach Lamb...four-year volleyball player for Coach Nichole Bailey, earning the team's most improved player award during 2015-16 season...participated in Youth Engaged In Prevention (YEP) Club, choir, Drama Club...inducted to the National Honor Society...named Academic All-Michigan in basketball and softball, and to the Reading Honor Roll Team...

Personal: Born Madison Leigh Caldwell to parents Jeff and Patrice on Aug. 7, 1999, in Coldwater, Mich....Favorites: sports team--NFL's Detroit Lions; athlete--John Cena; TV Show--Terra Nova; movie--Jurassic Park; musician--Glenn Miller; food--tacos...hobby is crochet...very active in community service: church nursery attendant, church coffee shop server, Reading's Old Fashioned Christmas volunteer, Reading sports concession stands and Salvation Army Bell Ringer....major is undecided.

Who has been the biggest influence on you as an athlete and why?: "My dad has influenced me the most as an athlete because he always told me it is fun to be the best. He worked with me and pushed me when I thought it was too hard. Now I'm a college athlete and I have him to thank for that."
