Marvyn Dorchin, hired in the summer of 2024, serves as the Adrian College Women's Soccer assistant coach, specializing in goalkeeper development, as well as the program’s recruiting coordinator. Marvyn comes to Adrian having graduated from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2021 where he served as the team’s starting goalkeeper for four seasons and was a two-time team captain for the NCAA Division I UMass Minutemen.
After UMass, Coach Dorchin ventured overseas to extend his playing career professionally in Ireland, Norway, and Spain. He then returned stateside to play at the USL Championship level with several different teams where his play and leadership in the goalkeeper position helped many teams achieve record-breaking seasons. Marvyn brings enthusiasm and his overall involvement will help develop and strengthen the Adrian College Women's Soccer program.
The 2024 soccer season marks Dorchin's first with the Bulldogs.
