Bulldogs Bow Out of MIAA Tournament, 3-1, versus Hope in Semifinals

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - The long journey of 2007 ended on Friday night for the Adrian College volleyball team who exited the MIAA Tournament Semifinals with a 3-1 loss to Hope College. The Bulldogs were ousted by game scores of 14-30, 30-24, 12-30, 19-30 concluding their season with a record of 18-13.

Hope had five players in double figures in kills and hit .289 for the match. Adrian was led in kills by Jenny Carlson with eight and hit .127 in four games. Carlson also had four digs and three block assists for Adrian. Natalie Niblock managed to hit .364 with five kills. She also had 32 assists and nine digs.

Three Adrian seniors played in their final match as Lindsey Eshelman collected seven kills and six digs. Sara Morningstar had six kills, three block assists and two digs. Jessica Beckman finished with one service error and two reception errors.
