LISLE, Ill. - The volleyball team ended their MIAA regular season play with a 3-0 win over Olivet and on Friday night split a pair of matches at the Benedictine Classic in Lisle, Illinois as they gear up for the MIAA Tournament on Tuesday. The Bulldogs dropped a 15-25, 19-25, 25-15, 18-25 decision against Wheaton in the first match of the day. Jenny Carlson led Adrian with 12 kills and also had two block assists. Rebecca Tincknell had a good match with 10 kills and hit .429 with eight digs. Valerie Smith tallied eight kills and a .533 hitting percentage. Stephanie Asmus had 17 digs and Samantha Mercy led Adrian with 30 digs for the match.

Adrian won the second match against the host Eagles in four sets by the scores of 25-21, 23-25, 26-24, 25-21. Adrian (13-14) was led by Carlson's 20 kills against Benedictine. She hit .306 for the match and had three digs. Holly Pellegrin added 10 kills, seven digs and two total blocks. Smith tallied eight kills and a .333 hitting percentage. She also had four block assists. Natalie Niblock recorded 43 assists and 13 digs. Courtney Sellers tallied 20 digs and six kills for the Bulldogs.
