The AC volleyball team made it four wins in a row improving to 10-9 overall and 6-5 in the MIAA with a five-set victory at Kalamazoo. The Bulldogs won the match by scores of 26-28, 25-17, 22-25, 25-18, 15-9.
The Bulldogs have thrived on winning five-set matches this season improving to 4-1 in those situations. Rebecca Tincknell stepped up on the frontline with 12 kills and a .312 hitting percentage. Jenny Carlson led Adrian with 17 kills and also had four digs and two block assists. Natalie Niblock recorded seven kills on 17 attacks and also had 50 assists and 13 digs.
AC totaled 64 kills and a .185 hitting percentage for the match. They also had a total of 97 digs and 10 team blocks. Mary Rinke had a career-high 25 digs and also chipped in eight kills. Stephanie Asmus had 20 digs and one service ace. Samantha Mercy had 17 digs and three service aces.
