The inaugural season of women's lacrosse at Adrian College ended with an 11-6 win over Tri-State University on Thursday night. The Bulldogs did very well for a first-year program finishing with an overall record of 6-7.
Megan Bouwens and Mariana DiGiovanni each scored four goals for the Bulldogs while Andrea Soloko added two goals and Ashley Starkey scored once. The Bulldogs fell behind 1-0 but then scored eight straight goals to take control of the game.
DiGiovanni ends the year with 41 goals to lead the team. Bouwens finishes with 31 goals which ranks second on the team. Amanda Faraone made nine saves for Adrian.
