SPRINGFIELD, Ohio - The Adrian College women's volleyball team fell to #5 Wittenberg on Saturday afternoon in day two of the Border Battle. Wittenberg won by the scores of 25-5, 25-14, and 25-15. #10 Ohio Northern also defeated the Bulldogs by scores of 25-13, 25-16, and 25-19.

Jenny Carlson led the team against Wittenberg with eight kills, while Natalie Niblock and Courtney Sellers each added four a piece. Niblock also led the team with 11 assists against the Tigers.

The duo of Carlson and Sellers combined to lead the Bulldogs in kills against Ohio Northern as each player ended the game with nine. Samantha Mercy recorded 24 digs, while Niblock ended the game with 22 assists.

The Bulldogs will return to action Wednesday, Sept. 17th when they host Trine University at 7:00 p.m.
