The MIAA opener had a great script for the Bulldogs who traveled to Saint Mary's and came away with a 3-0 win over the Belles. After a tough weekend which saw the team go 2-2 and place fourth in the Capital Tournament, the Bulldogs rebounded with a convincing win at Saint Mary's in straight sets.
Senior outside hitter Jenny Carlson shook off a slow start with 11 kills and a .346 attack percentage. Carlson also played well at the net with one solo and four assisted blocks. Sophomore outside hitter Courtney Sellers added nine kills and seven digs to help the cause.
Junior setter Natalie Niblock had a season-high 32 assists on 34 team kills and also had four digs. Senior Samantha Mercy did her thing which is play solid defense with 22 digs. The Bulldogs recorded a .196 team attack percentage and also had three service aces and five service errors.
Adrian defeated Saint Mary's by the scores of 25-15, 25-22 and 25-18 moving to 3-2 overall and 1-0 in the MIAA.
