The Adrian College women's lacrosse team improved to 4-3 overall with a 12-5 victory over Kenyon College on Saturday afternoon.
Adrian held a 5-4 advantage after the first thirty minutes of action. Amanda Lambert scored the first goal of the game for Adrian. Kenyon tied the game two minutes later off a free position shot. The Bulldogs went on to score three goals in a row to grab a 4-1 lead. Lindsey Day scored two of the goals, while Jovelle Ward added the other. Lambert scored her second goal of the half at the 1:41 mark to take the Bulldogs into halftime.
Rachel Johnston scored the first three goals of the second half for Adrian. Ward scored her second goal of the game 10 minutes into the second half to give Adrian a 9-5 lead. Day put the game out of reach by scoring back-to-back goals with 10 minutes remaining in the game.
