Bulldogs Fall To Cardinals 74-66

NAPERVILLE, Ill. - The Adrian College men's basketball team fell to North Central College by the final score of 74-66 on Saturday night.

Derek Raridon led the Cardinals to victory by pouring in 26 points against the Bulldogs. Raridon went 7-for-11 from the field, but more importantly hit 11 of his 12 free throw attempts to lead North Central to the eight point win.

Jovon Mosley led Adrian in scoring for the second straight game. Mosley scored 13 points off 5-of-7 shooting from the floor. Michael Staley added 12 points, while Cody Barnes scored 11.

The Bulldogs went 0-for-4 from behind the arc in the first half, but hit 50% (6-0f-12) in the second half to spark the comeback.

The Cardinals led from the tipoff, but Adrian cut the lead to five with under a minute to play. AC was forced to foul and North Central hit their free throws to secure the win.

The Bulldogs will tipoff the MIAA season against Trine on January 6th at 7:30 p.m.
