Final Stats

ADRIAN, Mich. - The Adrian College women's lacrosse team defeated Carthage College on Saturday afternoon by the final score of 26-12.

AC dominated the first half of play outscoring Carthage 19-5. The second period was more balanced as each team scored seven goals.

Lindsey Day and Rachel Johnston each had eight points for the Bulldogs in the win over Carthage. Day scored six goals and added two assists. Johnston scored five goals and made three assists.

Stacey Birlson and Jovelle Ward each scored four goals and made one assist for AC. Amanda Lambert was close behind with three goals and an assist.

Mariana DiGiovanni and Olivia Duncan each had a goal and an assist, while Laura VonderHaar and Heather Newblom rounded out the scoring giving AC the 16-12 victory.

Three players got to play goalie for Adrian in the win over the Lady Reds. Laura Finfrock got the win and made four saves. Amanda Faraone and Meghan Smerecki each played in the second half. Faraone made one save, and Smerecki made three saves.
