The Adrian College men's soccer team dropped their season-opener 2-0 to the sixth ranked University of Rochester in the Flower City Classic.

Goals by Rochester's Robert Eberhardt and Chris Blivin were too much for the Bulldogs to overcome. Senior goalie Alex Pavlika had three saves in the loss. Justin McCurbin, a sophomore lead the offense with three shots and freshman Matt Plawecki came on as a substitute to contribute with one shot. The Bulldogs were unable to get their offense going being out shot by the Yellowjackets 23-3.

Adrian will play St. John Fisher in the final game of the Flower City Classic at 7 pm, Sunday, September 5.
