ADRIAN, Mich. – The Adrian College women's volleyball team dropped to no. 1 ranked Calvin College tonight (Oct. 4) inside of Merillat Gymnasium with the score of 3-0 (8-25, 14-25, 5-25). The Lady Bulldogs fall to 3-16, 2-6 in the MIAA and the Knights improve to a perfect 16-0 overall and 8-0 record in league play.

On offense for Adrian, Roxanne Duran had a team-high five kills. Also making their presence felt on the offense was Elise Mindick and Andrea Phillips who knocked down three kills apiece. Designator setter Kristy DeClercq earned a team-high 11 assists.

On the defensive side, libero Kristi Walker garnered a team-high seven digs followed by Emily Ribant and Duran who each had four.

Adrian continues its six-game home stand as they host Olivet College on Friday (Oct. 7). The match is slated to start at 6:30 p.m.
