Box Score ADRIAN, Mich. – The Bulldogs of Adrian College could not stop the nationally ranked Fighting Scots of The College of Wooster inside of Merillat Gymnasium tonight (Dec. 3) and lost by the score of 75-50. Wooster (5-0) went 10-for-20 (50%) behind the arc and 44% (24-for-54) overall. Adrian (4-3) went 5-for-23 (21.7%) from long range and 29.3% (17-for-58) from the floor.
Leading three in double figures for Adrian was freshman Eric Lewis with 13 points. Following was junior Sean Gallant and freshman Adam Meier with 12 apiece. Sophomore Mitchell Small registered a career-high five points, including a three-pointer. Classmate Curtis Gordon got his first career start and added four points and two boards.
Wooster had three in double figures with Justin Hallowell leading with 13 points. Following was Justin Warnes and Josh Claytor with 11 and 10 points, respectively.
On the glass, Wooster out-rebounded Adrian 50-31. Gallant led Adrian with seven boards while Jake Mays had a game-high 13 boards for the Scots.
Adrian looks to get back in the win column as it hosts Defiance College next Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. The women will follow with a MIAA showdown against Albion at 8:00 p.m.
