ADRIAN, Mich. – The Adrian College women's volleyball team fell short to No. 13 Hope College 3-0 at Merillat Stadium. The Lady Bulldogs drop to 1-7 overall and 1-3 in the MIAA, while the Flying Dutch improve to a perfect 7-0 overall and 3-0 conference record.

The Lady Bulldogs showed heart and determination in all three sets but came up short 25-21 in game one, 25-17 in game two, and 25-15 in game three.

Senior Roxanne Duran led the team with eight kills, followed by freshman Andrea Phillips with five.

On defense, sophomore Kristi Walker led with a team-high 11 digs. Duran and junior Kristy DeClercq were close behind with eight and seven digs, respectively. DeClercq also led the offense with 11 assists.

Adrian is back in action when it competes in the Carnegie Mellon Quad starting this Friday at 8:00pm.
