ADRIAN, Mich. - The women's volleyball team got back to their winning ways on Tuesday night with a 3-0 sweep over Albion College by set scores of 25-18, 25-11, 25-20.

The Bulldogs (5-9, 1-4) ended a nine-match skid and picked up their first MIAA win of the season behind a team .264 attack percentage (41 kills, 13 errors, 106 attacks). Adrian led throughout the first two sets and the score was only tied once in each of those sets. Albion and Adrian had three lead changes and four ties in the final set.

The Bulldogs saved their best for the third set with 16 kills and also hit .289 for the set. The team's best attack percentage came in the second set with a .345 clip. The Britons hit -.080 in the second set with just four kills for their lowest output of the match.

Nine different players recorded a kill for the Bulldogs in the match led by Linnea Berriman's nine kills. Berriman hit .353 and also had two blocks. Andrea Phillips totaled seven kills and nine digs for Adrian. Danielle Bogedin registered eight kills and a .278 attack percentage and also had four digs. Kristy DeClercq had 19 assists and five digs while Carly Tyson chipped in 11 assists and was 3-for-3 in kill attempts. Emily Ribant led the team with 16 digs and four service aces.

The Bulldogs will now travel to Kalamazoo for a noon match on Saturday, Sept. 22 and will also play Manchester following the Kalamazoo match in a non-conference tilt.
