Box Score ADRIAN, Mich. - After just one day off following a five-set thriller against Siena Heights, the volleyball team took to the court and earned their fourth win in the last five matches with a 3-0 sweep of Olivet College (25-22, 25-21, 25-22).
Adrian picked up its second home win of the season behind strong right arms of senior Stephanie Holloman and freshman Jordan Brisson. Holloman hit .560 for the match with 14 kills, no errors and 25 attacks. Brisson collected 10 kills, three errors and 33 attacks for a .212 percentage. The Bulldogs hit .221 as a team marking their sixth-best percentage for the season including a .282 clip in the third set.
Olivet drops to 2-13 overall and 1-6 in the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association. Adrian improved to 8-10 overall and 3-4 in the MIAA. The Bulldogs' eighth win equals their win total from last year in David Kwan's first year as head coach.
Adrian registered 47 digs and were led by 16 digs from junior Kristi Walker. Senior Kristy DeClercq led Adrian with 18 assists and fellow senior Ashley Vernier accompanied her with 15 assists.
