Box Score MEADVILLE, Pa.- The Bulldog men's basketball team played their final game of the Greg Richards Memorial Basketball Tournament Saturday night against the host school Allegheny College. The Bulldogs fell to the Gators 58-44, and fell to 0-2 on the season.
The first half of play was even as the teams traded lead changes and the score was tied three times. Ben Rodak scored seven points to lead the offense and Eric Lewis pulled down five rebounds but the Adrian trailed 28-23 at the break.
The Gators started out the second half strong by going on an early seven point run that put Allegheny ahead by 14 with 17 minutes remaining, and the Bulldogs could never regain the lead. Earl Swift came off of the bench to score six second half points and Drew Torey had three steals, but the Bulldogs were outscored 30-21 for the half.
Rodak led the Bulldogs with 10 points, three rebounds and one steal. Swift came off of the bench to score seven pounds and pull down four rebounds.
Adrian will play again November 20 at 7:30 p.m. when they travel to Franklin.
