DEARBORN, Mich. - The Bulldogs met Michigan-Dearborn Sunday night looking to end their weekend perfectly. Adrian failed to ever take the lead, and the Wolverines took the victory as they sent the Bulldogs to a 1-5 record overall.

The first half started with Michigan-Dearborn scoring the first four points. The Wolverines followed this closely with an 8-0 over 2:28 to leave the game at a 12-4 Adrian disadvantage with 15:22 remaining in the half. This point spread would prove to be sufficient to keep the Wolverines ahead at the break as they carried a 29-20 lead to the second half.

The second half was highlighted with even gameplay as the teams traded baskets. The Bulldogs chipped away at their deficit. Adrian brought the game within three points with 9:05 left in the game. The game remained within reach over the next 4:10 seconds of play, but the Bulldogs could not overcome the Wolverines and Michigan-Dearborn started to rebuild their lead.  The Wolverines scored six straight over 1:02 seconds and left Adrian looking up at a 54-43 shortcoming with merely 13 seconds left. The Bulldogs tacked on the final two, but fell to the Wolverines 54-45.

Rickey Jackson led the Bulldogs with 11 points and six rebounds. Mitchell Small added seven points, five rebounds and two steals.

The Bulldogs will play again Saturday, December 7 when they host Carnegie-Mellon at 3 p.m.
