Box Score ADRIAN, Mich. – The women's lacrosse team (15-2) scored 13 first-half goals and added another eight in the second half for a 21-2 win over Albion College (5-9) in the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Tournament semifinal game Thursday night at Performance Stadium.
Adrian attempted 37 shots, of which 29 were on the cage and edged the Brits in groundballs, 19-7.
Olivia Duncan scored eight of the Bulldogs goals and now has 75 on the year to lead her team.
Maddie Dugan added four goals and Stacey Birlson scored three times for Adrian. Heather Newblom and Nicole McDowell each had a pair of goals. TaShina Salas and Hannah Early netted one goal apiece.
Goalkeeper Maddie McDonald had four saves for Adrian in recording her 15th win of the season.
The top-seeded Bulldogs will play for the MIAA Tournament championship against Alma College at home on Saturday, May 4th at 5 p.m. The winner gets the automatic berth into the NCAA Division III Tournament.
