CINCINATTI, Ohio – The Bulldogs traveled to Mount Saint Joseph to take on the Lions and Franklin College. The Bulldogs split as they took down Franklin in game one before falling to the Lions in game two. Adrian now stands at 12-15 overall.

Game one saw the Bulldogs take on Franklin College. The Bulldogs jumped out to the early lead with a 25-23 set one win. Franklin evened the score in with a 25-20 win in set two before Adrian, once again, took the lead. They jumped out to the 2-1 match lead by taking four straight points to break open the game on their way to a 25-18 win. Franklin forced a fifth and final set by holding the lead throughout the set as they took a 25-20 win.

Set five saw the Bulldogs come back from a 9-8 deficit as they scored four straight points on their way to a 15-11 win.

The Bulldogs were led by Margo Joubran as she recorded 15 kills and 23 digs.Cassadine Reed totaled 11 kills on a .450 hitting percentage while Jordan Brisson added 18 kills. Haley Mellon recorded 20 digs and Marisa Dion added 36 assists.

Game two saw the Bulldogs take on the Mount Saint  Joseph Lions. The Lions took out Adrian in four sets as the Bulldogs battled into extra points in set four. Mt. St. Joseph took the first two sets by respective scores of 25-21 and 25-16. The Bulldogs then battled back into the match in set three as they took out the Lions. Adrian took the set 25-19 by taking two runs of five points to leave the Lions behind. Adrian battled the Lions 12 ties as they forced extra points in set four. The Lions outlasted the Bulldogs, 28-26, as they took the match, 3-1.

The Bulldogs were led by Jordan Brisson as she recorded 10 kills. Marisa Dion tallied 20 assists and nine digs while Haley Mellon added nine digs.
