SOUTHFIELD, Mich. - The Adrian College men's basketball team dropped a 77-60 contest at Lawrence Tech on Saturday (Dec. 20). The Bulldogs (2-6) jumped out to a quick start establishing a 13-7 lead in the first eight minutes of the game. The Blue Devils (3-11) quickly turned it around with an 11-0 run and would not give up the lead the rest of the way.

Adrian trailed 35-27 at halftime as there were two ties and three lead changes in the first half. The Bulldogs cut the lead to 35-34 with a quick spurt to start the second half in the first two minutes. Lawrence Tech answered with a 15-2 run over the next five minutes to put Adrian down 50-36 with 13:20 left in the game. Adrian only got the lead under double-digits once for the remainder of the game.

The Blue Devils got 26 points off the bench as Robbie Geoghegan scored 13 points on 4-of-4 shooting. Jon Osantowski also chipped in eight points in eight minutes. Brandon Keur scored a team-high 14 points for Lawrence Tech and grabbed seven rebounds.

Rickey Jackson, Jr. led the Bulldogs with 24 points going 7-of-13 from the floor including 3-of-4 from the arc. Jackson, Jr. grabbed seven rebounds and collected three steals in 34 minutes. Curtis Gordon was also in double figures with 12 points and also had three assists in 28 minutes. Adrian shot 37 percent from the floor (20-of-54) while the Blue Devils shot 61.4 percent (27-of-44).
