ADRIAN, Mich. – The Adrian College women's volleyball team fell to fourth ranked Calvin (25-3, 15-0) 3-0 in their regular season home finale on Friday night in the Merillat Gym (25-16, 25-17, 25-14). The Knights' defense held the Bulldogs (13-12, 8-7) to a .086 hitting percentage and only allowed 22 kills for the entire match.

Cassadine Reed led Adrian offensively with five kills. She also tallied one solo block and 2 block assists on defense.

Nicole Motz paced the Bulldog offense for most of the match with 11 assists on the night.

Defensively Adrian was led by Haley Mellon with 18 digs.

The Bulldogs are still in possession of third place in the MIAA and will wrap their regular season up tomorrow when they travel to Alma. If Adrian wins they are in the MIAA Tournament that begins next week. The match is scheduled to start at 6:30 p.m.
