GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The Adrian College women's volleyball team fell 3-0 to no. 11 Hope College in the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association semi-finals held in Van Nood Arena on the campus of Calvin College (16-25, 19-25, 19-25).

Olivia Welch led the Bulldogs offensively with eight kills. She also contributed 18 digs for the Bulldog defense. Both Nicole Motz and Marisa Dion paced the Adrian offense with 10 assists each and Haley Mellon topped the digs category for the Bulldogs with 22.

The Dutch were led offensively by Courtney Van Houen and Katie Rietburg with 14 and 10 kills respectively. Four Hope players recorded double digit digs led by Allie Mitchell with 21. Lauren Hazelkamp contributed 35 assists for the Dutch.

Adrian finishes their season with a record of 14-13 overall and a 9-8 conference record. Hope will face the winner of the other semi-final match between Trine and no. 4 Calvin Saturday, November 7 at 7:00 p.m.
