DETROIT - The Adrian College men's basketball team traveled to Detroit to face the NCAA Division I Detroit Mercy Titans in an exhibition contest on Friday night.

The Bulldogs were able to keep the score close in the first half only trailing by a point heading into the locker room, 39-38. However, the Titans would widen the gap in the second half and pull out a 30-point victory, 99-69.

Adrian opens the season a week from tonight (Friday, November 18), hosting Anderson (Ind.) in the Merillat Sports and Fitness Center. Opening tip-off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
