Box Score ADRIAN, Mich.--Anthony Sabitsky scored the go-ahead goal in the first period and the visiting Trinity (Conn.) College men's hockey team hung on for a 2-1 non-conference victory over Adrian College in a battle of nationally-ranked foes on Saturday afternoon.

= Sophomore goalie Kevin Entmaa stopped 19 of 21 shots he faced.
= Freshman transfer Dino Balsamo scored in his Adrian debut, after playing the fall semester at NCAA Division I Bentley University based in Waltham, Mass.
= Sophomore Bryan Yim won 12 of 18 face-offs and led the team with four shots on goal.
= Classmate Cory Dunn also had four shots from his position on the blueline.
= Sophomore Chase Matson went 4-for-7 in the faceoff circle.
THE OPPOSITION
= Alex Morin made 19 saves on 20 Adrian shots.
= Ethan Holdaway and Sabitsky scored for the Bantams.
= Brandon Cole, Ryan Cole, Sean Orlando and Charlie Zuccarini all had an assist.
= In the face-off dot, Adam Anderson and Holdaway led the way with nine and seven wins, respectively, in 12 draws apiece.
HOW IT HAPPENED
= Balsamo scored just 41 seconds after the opening face-off to stake the Bulldogs to a 1-0 lead. He came down the right wing and backhanded a shot by Morin from close range.
= All of the scoring occurred in the first period as Trinity scored back-to-back goals just 54 seconds apart. Holdaway shot a wrister coming in on the right wing at the 4:36 mark and Sabitsky had a tap-in near the left post at 5:30 for the eventual game-winning goal.
= Adrian pulled Entmaa with 51 seconds remaining in regulation in favor of an extra attacker, but despite some good looks could not get a shot on goal and potentially force overtime.
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE
= Balsamo, who moves back closer to home in Sterling Heights, scored two goals and an assist in nine games with the Atlantic Hockey-affiliated Falcons.
= Trinity leads the all-time series 2-0, defeating the Bulldogs 5-3 in the 2015 NCAA Division III Semifinals held in Minneapolis, Minn.
= Adrian lost for just the 16th time at Arrington, compiling a 120-16-7 lifetime record on home-ice for a staggering .865 winning percentage.
= The last time the Bulldogs had fallen to a non-conference opponent during the regular-season was on Nov. 30, 2014, to Neumann.
= The teams combined to go 0-for-13 on the power-play.
