Box Score ADRIAN, Mich. - The Adrian College women's lacrosse team earned its first MIAA win as well as the first home win in a 17-5 victory over Trine on Saturday (April 16).

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Adrian dominated early by jumping out to a 3-0 lead within first five minutes of the game
• Trine would answer by scoring a goal before the Bulldogs would net three more goals
• The Bulldogs would respond to another Thunder goal with a four goal run to take a 10-3 lead into halftime
• Adrian would score 7-of the final-8 goals of the game to finish off Trine
TOP ADRIAN PERFORMERS
• Annika Nuler scored a game high five goals during the game
• Mariesa Johnson scored the first two goals of the game for the Bulldogs before finishing with four goals on the day
• Annie Rice and Alex Branum each scored a hat trick
• Johnson and Nuler scooped up six ground balls, the game high for that category
• Hanna Vandenboom also contributed with five ground balls; Rice and Ava Cares each had four ground balls
• Jenna Carter, Cares and Nuler had the game high four draw controls
• Nuler also led both teams with four caused turnovers
THE OPPOSITION
• Rebecca Plantz led Trine with two goals
• Anne Mammel scored one goal and had the Thunder's only assist for the game
• Caity Ross had a game high six ground balls and a team high three caused turnovers
