Box Score CHICAGO--The Adrian College women's basketball team put on a fastbreak clinic on Saturday during an 81-27 non-conference rout of host Illinois Tech in the first-ever meeting between the programs.

TOP 'DAWGS
= Sophomore Ashley Morris connected for a career-high 19 points on 8-for-12 field goal shooting to lead all scorers. Her 22-minute afternoon also included four rebounds, three steals, two assists and a blocked shot.
= Freshman Sadia Johnson added 18 points, six rebounds and a personal-record seven assists--also a game high.
= Classmate Starnisha Harris (5 points) had a team-leading 10 rebounds, five assists and three steals.
= Senior Brigitte Zavithsanos chipped in three steals.
THE OPPOSITION
= Erin Efimoff led with six points.
= Venika Jarvis pulled down a game-best 11 rebounds and swiped four of the team's seven steals.
HOW IT HAPPENED
= The Bulldogs shot a blistering 83.3 percent from the floor (10-12 FG, 3-5 3FG) to take a commanding 26-6 lead after the first quarter and never looked back.
= Adrian generated 19 steals that attributed to 25 Illinois Tech turnovers, resulting in 26 points off turnovers. The Bulldogs also outscored the Hawks in the paint, 46-12.
= Adrian had 26 fastbreak points while never trailing in the contest.
= The Bulldogs also dominated the glass by a 58 to 36 margin, including 24-15 on the offensive end that led to an Adrian 18-5 advantage on second-chance points.
= For the game, the Adrian defense held the Hawks to a 15.4 percent (8-52) field goal percentage and did not allow a made three-pointer.

= The Bulldogs are 7-0 when scoring 80 points or more in a game this season.
