Box Score ADRIAN, MICH. -- The Adrian College women's lacrosse team suffered an 18-6 defeat at the hands of the North Central College Cardinals in Docking Stadium on Friday night. Six different Bulldogs scored a goal in the losing effort.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Cardinals scored the first six goals of the game. Mariesa Johnson () scored the first goal for Adrian with 17:29 remaining in the first half.
Jenna Carter (Canton, Mich.) scored off an assist from Alyssa Gunderson (Ridgely, Mich.) with 2:00 remaining in the half to put the score at 9-2, NCC.
Maddie Nicholas (South Lyon, Mich.) scored a free-position goal in the final 20 seconds of the half to put the score at 10-3 as the teams headed into the intermission.
Gabriella Storin (Neenah, Wis.), Gwyneth Brodbeck (Lake Orion, Mich.), and Annie Rice (Reisterstown, Md.) each scored in the second half.
TOP DOGS
• Hannah Emerson (Commerce, Twp., Mich.) led the Bulldogs with four ground balls.
• Hannah Roegner (Huntington Woods, Mich.) had a team-high seven draw controls.
THE OPPOSITION
• Madeline McHugh and Grace Steiner each tallied four goals to lead the Cardinals.
• Christina Truver and Addie Records each registered a hat-trick and two assists.
