ALTOONA, Pa. - In her first appearance of the season, senior
Chelsea Palmer turned in a double-double effort with 13 points and 10 rebounds to help pace the Adrian women's basketball team to its first win of the season.
Despite committing a few more turnovers than their opposition, the Bulldogs held a 46-33 advantage on the glass, leading to seven second-chance points and 20 points in the paint.
In the deciding fourth quarter, the visitors led by as many as eight points with just over two minutes to play. The hosts muscled home a couple of deep shots to go along with some free throws, but the Bulldogs' own composure at the charity stripe proved to much for the Nittany Lions to overcome.

Chloe Gilbert and Warner paced Adrian (1-1) with three assists each.
