KALAMAZOO, Mich – The Adrian Women's volleyball team snapped their two game losing streak against the Kalamazoo Hornets Wednesday evening with a 3-0 sweep.
How It Happened
The Bulldogs recorded 99 attacks, 47 kills, 44 assists, and 39 digs. When all was said and done the Bulldogs outscored the Hornets by 24 points on the night. In the second series, the Bulldogs were able to comfortably enter the third series after outscoring Kalamazoo 25-12 and capped off the night winning the last set 25-17.

Junior
Amber Morris led all players tonight with 20 kills and 12 digs and
Mallory Dorow was second in the game with ten kills of her own.
Maddy Peters led all players with three aces, and
Kayla Chan had a game high 5 blocks. Junior
Hailey Farrell led all players with 35 assists.
Stings, Doesn't It?
With the 3-0 series win over Kalamazoo, the Bulldogs are now 11-3 in their last fourteen matches against the Hornets dating back to the 2015-16 season.
Winning-Record Clinched
With their 11th win tonight, the Bulldogs secured a winning record for the 2022 season. The last time the Bulldogs completed a season over .500 was in 2016, when Adrian went 15-14 on the year.

The Bulldogs conclude their road stretch Tuesday, October 18, at 6:30 P.M. against Calvin University. On Wednesday, October 26, join the women's volleyball team for Senior Night, as the Bulldogs take on Saint Mary's College at Merillat Sport and Fitness Center at 7:00 P.M.
