ROCK ISLAND, Ill. -- The Adrian College women's soccer team traveled to Illinois to take on Augustana College in a non-conference match on Saturday afternoon. The Bulldogs struggled on the road losing the contest 2-0.
Augustana jumped on the board early with a goal in the eighth minute of the game to lead 1-0. They went on to extend their lead to 2-0 in the 69th minute resulting in the final score.Â

Mckenna Mahoney finished the day with three shots with two on goal while
Eve Davis recorded a pair of shots on goal as well.
Taylor Fischer finished the day with three saves in goal for Adrian.
"Today was a pretty even match," said head coach
Ali Alamdari. "Augie was just more decisive and committed on their chances than we were. We're going to face an Albion team with some similar characteristics, so hopefully we take the experience to heart and apply it when the points are on the line."
Adrian will travel to Albion on Tuesday, October 18 at 7:00 PM to continue MIAA conference play.
