I'm proud of the way this team stood together throughout the course of the season and finished things together", said Sarka.
Colin O'Neil reflected on the match stating, "Beating Trine in our last game of the season was a great win for the team and a great sendoff for us seniors. It was a pleasure to be able to continue my athletic career at Adrian and I will always look back on the memories I have created. Go Bulldogs!", said O'Neil.
Head Coach
Mike Hatfield reflected on this past season noting a massive season of growth was made from the start of the season to the finish:
"We are extremely young and growing and these seniors took on that role as leaders and have been helping these sophomores and freshman get up to speed.", said Coach Hatfield.
The Bulldog's closed out the season on a high note ending the year with a win and a tie in their final two games. The Bulldog's had previously not gone two games without a loss since October 22-26, 2019, when they defeated Trine 3-1 and Alma 2-0.
"We have 29 players and 22 are freshman and sophomores, so we have ups and downs. But the way we finished the MIAA season, we closed huge gaps in play, possession, scoring chances and overall scores of games. To finish the season with a conference win vs Trine, that was a gift the rest of team and staff wanted to give those seniors for the appreciation for everything they done for us! You will be missed, but never too far to come back and see us at The Dock! Once a Soccer Dawg, always a Soccer Dawg! Thank You!", said Coach Hatfield.
