OBERLIN, Ohio — The Adrian College women's soccer team competed in a midweek non-conference matchup on Thursday evening as they traveled to Oberlin College. The Bulldogs dropped a close match 2-1.
The first half was scoreless as Adrian was out-shot 11-3.
Oberlin broke the silence with an early second half goal to lead 1-0. The Bulldogs tied the game with a goal from Josie Huber to make it 1-1. Oberlin scored in the 69th minute to lead 2-1 resulting in the final score.
Adrian had more opportunities in the second half totaling 10 shots.
Huber put two shots on goal while Eve Davis added two and Sarah Hoensheid added one. Taylor Fischer made ten saves on the night.
The Bulldogs return to action on Saturday, October 8 at 2PM as they travel to Saint Mary's for another MIAA match.
