ADRIAN, Mich. - The Adrian College women's NCAA hockey team improved to 3-0 this season after a 4-0 win over Augsburg University Saturday evening.

The Bulldogs first opened up tonight's scoring after a goal from Kaleigh Cadorette to give the Bulldogs a 1-0 advantage over Augsburg with less than 10 minutes into the game.Â

In the second period the Bulldogs would take control of the evening, scoring three goals in the period. Une Bjelland would score two of those goals, with one coming off of an assist from Reaghan Pietrowski to give the Bulldogs a 3-0 lead. Later, 18:42 into the second period, sophomore Gia Avalone would score her first goal of her career off of assists by Annika Hanson and Jessica VonRuden and the Bulldogs coasted to a 4-0 victory over Augsburg University.Â

Tonight, the Bulldogs tallied five total assists and had 22 shots on net and all Bulldogs would end the game with a +/- of 0 or greater.Â

Tomorrow at 3:00 PM, the Bulldogs will conclude their home series with Augsburg at Arrington Ice Arena.Â
