ALMA, Mich. – The Adrian College football team competed in its final road game of the season as they traveled to Alma College on Saturday afternoon. The Bulldogs had a rough day falling to the Scots 30-10.
Alma led 7-0 after the first quarter after scoring a touchdown with 8:39 to go in the quarter. The Scots added 13 more points in the second quarter on a touchdown and a field goal with six seconds left in the half to lead 17-0.
Alma continued to add on the points scoring 13 more in the third to lead 30-0. The Bulldogs got on the board with 10:01 left in the fourth on a field goal from
Walker Evans. With 3:21 to play,
Noah Heide found
Cole Seslar for an 11-yard touchdown pass to make it 30-10.
Kenny Kujawa finished the game with 79 yards receiving to lead the team while
Taj Williams led the Bulldogs in rushing with 43 yards. Heide finished with 177 yards passing with a touchdown. DeAndre Jennings led the team with 10 tackles followed by eight
Donovan McCary,
Sam Madrid, and
Randall Broome.
Adrian's will wrap up its season at home on Saturday, November 12 as they host Olivet College at 1:00 PM for Senior Day.
