ADRIAN, Mich. -- The Adrian College men's basketball team is back at home this weekend with a pair of MIAA conference games. Albion College comes to town on Wednesday to take on the Bulldogs, and Kalamazoo will follow suit on Saturday. Adrian has struggled this season as they hold a 4-17 record on the year and sit 3-7 in conference. The Bulldogs currently sit fifth in the conference standings ahead of Kalamazoo, OIivet, and Alma.

The Bulldogs will look to split the season series with Albion after falling to the Britons by a score of 90-74 on the road at the end of January. After an 83-71 victory on the road at Kalamazoo at the beginning of January, Saturday's home game against the Hornets gives Adrian the opportunity to pick up a sweep.

Adrian has scored an average of 77.5 points per game this season while allowing 84.3 to it's opponents. Connor Pelham leads Adrian with 16.6 ppg to go with a team-high 6.8 rebounds per game, and shooting a team-high 51.5%. Freshman De'Ovion Price has been shooting 47.4% from the field for Adrian in 18 games with 17 starts and an average of 14.7 ppg. The young Bulldogs have seen a significant amount of playing time as freshmen Andrew Larson and Kendall Chrismon average more than 17 minutes per game with Chrismon putting up 10.8 ppg while Larson records 9.6 ppg with 6.7 rpg.

Last time out against Albion, the Bulldogs trailed by two at halftime before slipping up in the second half. Pelham led Adrian with 19 points followed by 19 from Chrismon off the bench, 14 from Jalen Paul, and 12 from Price. In the team's win over Kalamazoo earlier this season, Price and Chrismon each recorded 20 points while Pelham added 14. 

Albion sits in fourth place in the MIAA standings with a conference record of 7-3 to go with the team's 11-10 overall record. Kalamazoo sits in sixth with a 2-6 conference record to go with it's 5-14 MIAA record.

Adrian and Albion will take the court on Wednesday, February 9 at 7:30 PM at the Merillat Sport and Fitness Center followed by a game on Saturday, February 12 at 5:00 PM against the Kalamazoo Hornets.
