ADRIAN, Mich. - This week, the Adrian women's lacrosse team will end its season-opening, three-game homestand against Rochester University before hitting the road for the first time this season to Anderson, Indiana.

The Bulldogs (0-2) are hoping to start off the month of March right, hosting a Warriors squad on Wednesday with only one game under its belt, a 23-0 defeat at the hands of Cleary University back on February 16.

Against the Cougars, Rochester was limited to only three shots, all of which coming in the first half.

Carly Miller, Rebekah Sewell and Isabella Aune each contributed a single shot in the loss, while Sewell was also credited with 14 saves between the posts for the Warriors.

Then, on Saturday, the 'Dogs make their trip away from home, visiting Anderson University.

The Ravens opened their 2022 campaign with a loss at Wittenberg before evening their record with a 19-15 win over Thomas More.

Emma Sego and Riley Tull pace the team in scoring with seven and six goals, respectively. Their teammate Mallory Housman is responsible for all four of the Ravens' assists through two games.

In goal, Madison Leonard sports a 0.367 save percentage and 15.5 goals-against average. The junior corralled twelve of 18 total saves in Anderson's season-opener against the Tigers.

She will face an Adrian offense led by Olive Stevens. The senior recently cracked 100-career points, and actively leads the 'Dogs with seven points on five goals and two assists.

Carlee Casteel ranks second on the team with four points on four goals, followed by three different Bulldogs with one goal each, and two more locals with one assist apiece.
