ADRIAN, Mich. - At O'Laughlin Stadium, the Adrian track and field team competed in the 2022 Don Kleinow Invitational, hosted by Siena Heights University. Out of 19 teams, the Bulldog men turned in a second-place effort (64 points), while the women finished ninth out of 18 schools.

MEN'S HIGHLIGHTS

Derek Plitt, for the third time this season, swept the 100-meter (10.65) and 200-meter dash (21.29) events, coming just 0.06 seconds shy of tying the Adrian College outdoor record in the latter of the two races.
- The men's 4x100-meter relay team of
Caleb Ellis,
Nolan Breithaupt,
Asher Cousino and Plitt ran a season-best time of 42.96 to take first-place overall out of six.

- In the 110-meter hurdles,
Joshua Light set a new personal-best time of 15.29 en route to a third-place finish.

Weston Kvalevog placed third in the 400-meter dash with a time of 51.77, his quickest outdoor time in the event for his career.

Nolan Breithaupt (long jump, 6.55 meters) and
Cameron Overmyer (pole vault, 4.10 meters) also finished third in their respective events.

WOMEN'S HIGHLIGHTS
- In the 800-meter race,
Emme Koutz captured top honors with a time of 2:23.89, and teammate
Taylor Sempf ran a personal-best 2:36.70 to claim ninth overall.

Ciara Heslet (1.55 meters) placed second and third, respectively in the high jump.
