ROCHESTER, MI - The Adrian College track and field team competed at the 2022 Golden Grizzley Invitational over the weekend, hosted by Oakland University.
MEN'S HIGHLIGHTS
- Derek Plitt swept the 100 and 200-meter dashes for the second time this season, tying his career-best in the shorter of the two races with a time of 10.78.

Asher Cousino turned in a fifth-place effort in his first-ever 400-meter hurdle event, running a time of 59.30.
- In the 5,000-meter run,
Robert Diebold placed sixth with a time of 15:14.23.

Nolan Breithaupt came in fourth-place in the long jump with a try of 6.49 meters.

Weston Kvalevog (42.05 meters) and Josh Light (40.12 meters) both ranked inside the top 10 in the javelin throw at fifth and ninth, respectively.
WOMEN'S HIGHLIGHTS
- The Bulldogs put forth a strong showing in the high jump, led by
Cailey Beaudoin's third-place leap of 1.60 meters.
Ciara Heslet fell in not far behind in sixth-place (1.45 meters). The freshman also came in eighth-place overall in the javelin throw (26.81 meters).
- In the 3,000-meter steeplechase,
Bailey Mruzik finished seventh behind a time of 13:27.67.
