ALBION, Mich. -- The Adrian College track and field teams competed at the MIAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships on Thursday and Friday hosted by Albion College. The Bulldogs recorded four All-MIAA athletes in five categories including
Cameron Overmyer in the men's pole vault,
Cailey Beaudoin in the women's high jump,
Weston Kvalevog in the men's high jump, and
Derek Plitt in the men's 100m and 200m dash. As a team, the women's team finished seventh out of seven scores with a total of 44 points while the men's team finished fifth out of seven schools with a total of 73 points.
WOMEN'S HIGHLIGHTS

Cailey Beaudoin finished first in the high jump with a height of 1.64 meters to record All-MIAA honors and being the only participant to complete the jump at that height.

Ciara Heslet finished the day in fourth in the high jump with a height of 1.57m.

Bryanna Carey placed fourth in the shot put with a distance of 11.02m sitting 0.13 meters behind the third place finisher.

Amanda Mathews finished with a distance of 10.31m in the triple jump which place fifth in the event.

Kylie Baldwin,
Rylea Mougrabi, and
Reaghan Pietrowski competed in the 4x100m relay finishing fifth with a time of 52.35 seconds.
MEN'S HIGHLIGHTS

Cameron Overmyer finished first in the pole vault with a height of 4.45m to earn All-MIAA honors and be the only participant able to complete the jump.

Weston Kvalevog placed first in the high jump with a jump of 1.89m to record All-MIAA honors.

Derek Plitt finished with All-MIAA honors in two events including the 100m dash with a time of 10.74 to finish in first place followed by a time of 21.58 in the 200m to also take first.

Asher Cousino finished second in the 400m hurdles during the conference championships with a time of 55.83 finishing just under a second and a half behind the leader

Steven Posa placed third in the discus throw with a distance of 39.23m.

Nolan Breithaupt picked up a third place finish in the triple jump with a distance of 13.20m.
- Josh Light place fourth in the 110m hurdles during the conference championships with a time of 15.21 seconds.

Asher Cousino,
Nolan Breithaupt and
Derek Plitt finished third in the 4x100m with a time of 42.73 seconds.
UP NEXT
The Adrian College track and field team will return to competition at Baldwin Wallace University on Friday, May 13 with a select group competing in a final qualifier competition looking to land a spot in the National Championships at the end of May. Next Friday's qualifier will begin at 2:00 PM.
