Kali Bills announced the hiring of Liv Ghent as the assistant coach of the Adrian College women's lacrosse team earlier this week. Ghent is a recent graduate from Trine University where she was a member of the women's lacrosse.
Ghent began he collegiate career at Tiffin University before transferring to Trine. During her time in college, she played in 35 games and made 35 starts. She scored 112 goals during her career to go with 34 assists for 146 points. She recorded 50 ground balls during her career while forcing 15 turnovers and winning 100 draw controls.
At Trine, Ghent was named team captain and participated in the 2022 IWLCA Senior All-Star Game. She was also a two-time All-MIAA selection and was the 2022 Trine women's lacrosse Most Valuable Player. She went on to set single season records for points, points per game, goals, goals per game, and draw controls won in a single game. In 2022 she ranked 13
th in goals per game and 17
th in goals in all of Division III.
Ghent's coaching career began in 2019 where she began hosting individual lacrosse training sessions. In May of 2019, Ghent began the assistant coach of Pure Advantage Lacrosse. In March of 2022, Ghent was elevated to head coach of the Pure Advantage Lacrosse team.
Ghent will begin her assistant coaching responsibilities immediately where she will help with the team's nontraditional fall season and recruiting.
